OUR TEAM

Yeshivas Lev Simcha is being led by Rabbi Bentzion Klein under the Rabbinic oversight of Rabbi Zev Feundlich Shlita.

Rabbi Bentzion Klein grew up in Toronto where he attended Eitz Chaim and Yeshivas Ner Yisrael High School. Upon graduating he continued to learn Rabbinical studies at Yeshivas Toras Simcha in Eretz Yisroel, where he eventually obtained his Semicha. Together with his wife, they moved to Edmonton Alberta to join the Outreach Kollel, where he continued learning for an additional 2 years. In addition to his daily learning, he took on the role of becoming the assistant Rabbi and NCSY/Youth Director at the Edmonton Beth Israel Synagogue.

Rabbi Klein began teaching in 2007 when he assumed a Rebbi position for the 11th and 12th grade boys at Menorah Academy of Edmonton, AB Canada. During his years in Edmonton, he also directed a successful university outreach program called Maimonides.

Rabbi Klein is also a musician and entrepreneur. Before taking this new path to open the Yeshiva, he was the Director of Technology at Southern NCSY and the Co-Founder of a technology company that has created software and hardware products for the amusements and attractions industries. Some of their customers include national brands such as NBC, Dave and Busters, Chuck E Cheese’s, and Kalahari Resorts, to name a few.

Part of Rabbi Klein's work with NCSY is his role as being one of the JSU Directors. This gave him the opportunity to speak for hundreds of Jewish high school students in public schools, all across the Palm Beach area.

He is an accomplished musician and always makes sure to use his musical talents on the stage as well as in the world of Kiruv and Education. He has made the Kumzitz Concert his specialty and has performed for Yeshivas, Shuls, and Organizations across the world.

Rabbi Klein is passionate about Torah and the Jewish people. He is both a dedicated person and a passionate educator. His extensive background as an educator and his years of experience in the business world has given him the unique ability to spearhead such a special and much needed Yeshiva. He is someone who connects with the Jewish Youth and can inspire people on all levels.

Rabbi Klein now lives in Boca Raton, FL where he and his wife of 20 years have raised their two sons Eli and Avi and their daughter Orly.

Outside of the Beis Hamedrash, he likes to play guitar, golf, and spend time with his family.

Rav Shlomo Simcha Sufrin studied in Ohr Yerushalayim and Mir Yeshivahs in Israel, before moving to Canada where he studied at Kollel Avrerchim in Montreal. Over the years he has given many Shiurim in the communities where he served, taught Bar Mitzvah boys and opened his home and his heart to young adults in need of encouragement. He is also a Chazzan and Chassidic singer. Renowned for the heart and soul that he puts into his musical performances, Rav Shlomo brings that same spirit to the classroom.

Mr. Elly Lieber, originally from Far Rockaway, NY, brings a wealth of diverse experience and passion to his role as Administrator and Executive Director at Yeshivas Lev Simcha. With experience as a firefighter, Hatzalah EMT, professional photographer, trauma room specialist, and in community fundraising, Elly has always been dedicated to serving others and using his skills to make a difference.

Coming from a family of mechanchim, Elly has a strong background in education, with particular expertise in administration and organizational leadership. Over the past year, he has also shared his creativity with our students by teaching photography, inspiring them to see the world through a new lens.

Outside of his professional role, Elly enjoys music and creativity—he plays both guitar and piano—and most importantly, he cherishes spending quality time with his wife and baby.

Working closely under the guidance of Rabbi Avraham Hillel Reich, our Director of General Studies, he is committed to inspiring our students to excel both academically and personally.

Born in New York, Rabbi Shlomo Klein lived most of his life Toronto, Canada. After high school he learned in Beis Hatalmud in Yerushalayim and then he followed his Rebbi, Rabbi Y. Zweig, to help pioneer his new yeshiva in Miami. He then moved to Lakewood and continued his learning in Beis Medrash Gevoha.

Moving back to Toronto in 1981, he always maintained chavrusas, taught classes at Aish Hatorah and learned with and mentored young teenagers on a voluntary basis. He also began translating stories from Hebrew after being introduced to shiurim by Rabbi Sholom Meir Wallach of Bnei Brak. He shared those stories in weekly emails that were sent to over 1000 recipients over a ten year period. He also told these stories to the youth in his shul in Toronto, during his years there as a beloved member of the Kehila and shul candyman.

After retiring from his job as a commercial property manager, he and his wife worked for Rabbi Zachariah Wallerstein a”h, as ranch parents on the girls ranch in the Catskill mountains for 15 months before finally moving down to Boca Raton.

Rabbi Klein continues to learn with numerous chavrusas in the Boca Raton Kollel and the Century Village community.
He looks forward to teaching and learning with the YLS boys this coming year.
